Short haircuts are really popular these days. Male models found in magazines are showing off their short hair cuts, and even the ladies aren't afraid to cut it short. Especially in summer a short haircut feels great. Your head doesn't become as hot during a warm summer day if you have short hair. People who think short haircuts are boring might want to add some extra colour to their hair to spice it up a bit. Colours are meant to create a statement so be careful which colours you decide to apply to your own hair. Short coloured hair is considered hip and trendy these days. A short haircut can be elegant yet subtle. A full top do for women is a popular choice if you want to go the short hair route. Short hair that is combed back looks very elegant on older women. It makes you look sophisticated. If you want a messier look than apply some styling products to mess it up a bit. If you have fine, thin, hair then a haircut that stops at your jaw will make it appear like your hair has more volume, again this style is elegant, and excellent for businesswomen.

If on the other hand your face is diamond-shaped then perhaps the latter haircut doesn't work too much as it will emphasize the wrong parts of your face. Using mousse, a blow dryer and/or other styling products allows you to design a completely personal hair style that will keep people's attention focussed on you.
